Rated 1 out of 5 by internetgirl Not like they used to be
I have been wearing these for years. However, in the past couple of years they seemed to have gone downhill in quality and fit. I think I have given up on them. They do not keep their shape and the material doesn't even feel the same.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Riveridge Sleeves are tight
I didn't expect to have any fit problems with a short-sleeved T-shirt! The fabric is lovely, smooth, mid-weight, and the color is pretty. But the circumference of the bottom of the sleeves is a full 2 inches less than the Carefree Unshrinkable V-neck T-shirt which I ordered at the same time. Both of these are described as "Slightly Fitted." The Carefree shirt fits exactly as I expected (I ordered XL because I like a looser, casual fit). The sleeves on this Pima V-neck T-shirt hug my arms closely, from the hem up to the shoulder, and feel as binding as a T-shirt can feel, though the body of the shirt is quite loose. I'd like to return it, but shipping will cost half as much as the shirt did on sale, so I'm disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 Delightful fabric, shrinks in length
Pros: Pima cotton fabric is wonderfully soft, lighter fabric weight will be nice for warmer weather (but not too thin), decent color choices, well made.
Cons: Fit is a little odd in that shirt is a tad snug through shoulders and arms but going up a size results in a girth too big around (almost like a maternity top). I have a pima crew neck from several years back and it fits the same way. This is probably why I have not ordered more over the years despite really liking the fabric.
Measurements on a Regular Large out of the package and measurements after one regular wash and tumble dry are as follows:
Length(shoulder to hem): 24" down to 23". Girth (laying flat) 21" with no change after wash, Sleeve length (armpit to sleeve hem) remained at 1.25". Cannot say if a cold wash and hang dry approach would prevent length shrinkage. I personally did not want a shirt that needed special laundering attention. I am 5'3" and weight about 125lbs and the overall fit is decent with exception of odd shoulder/arm fit as noted above.

Rated 3 out of 5 by likesthesnow A little disappointed
This is a lovely, soft t-shirt. However, I found it to be too short, coming to the top of my hips. And, within 1 week and 1 wash, the hem has already unraveled. No big deal, because it's an easy fix - but disappointing, as I expect better from LLBean products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by canfly Please restock!
Love these shirts because they are lightweight and so soft. I love the rich violet and the colbalt. I re-ordered the purple because my cat made a hole in my first one that I got last year. I would really like to have another colbalt one but there are only small and medium left. Please restock!!! BTW... a suggestion: L and XL are always the first sizes to be sold out and always S left over. Why not stock more of the L & XL and less S to start with?

Rated 4 out of 5 by Wings23 Soft lightweight shirt
I really like pima cotton shirts, they are so nice and soft. I don't tolerate a lot of T-shirt material, as it feels scratchy, but I love this silky material. It is true to size for other LLBean T-shirts. The v-neck is a good depth, not too high, not too low. It is not revealing like a lot of contemporary v-necks are these days. The sleeves are a little longer than on the carefree unshrinkable shirts if you order those as well. A caveat on these shirts though. They are very lightweight, and you can see bra lines through on the lighter colors so I only order the darker ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by beaner500 Picky: Wash instructions not in English
Not to be picky, but the wash labels on these shirts are written in french and what looks to be chinese. How is it that you sell shirts in the United States without wash instructions in the local language??? Love the shirt, hate the wash instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by beaner500 Soft, nicely cut, comfortable, attractive
I wear these to work when they are in new condition. They are comfortable, classically styled, and the slightly fitted cut is attractive on me. The sizing may be on the small side. I usually wear a petite, but the misses fits me very well, including the length. After a while they wear out and then become my weekend shirts for a while before I let them go to the rag bag. About 3 seasons to the rag bag. I really like these shirts and recommend them. I hope they don't discontinue this classic style that goes with skirts and jeans. The number of colors available is an indication of how popular they must be. Each year they seem to vary the color pallet a little, which is fine.
