Rated 1 out of 5 by ATSVA Where are your Women's Sizes....
I am soooo disappointed in LLBean. I have been purchasing women's (3X) pima/cotton v-neck long sleeved knit tops for almost 20 years. I love them. They are my everyday uniform almost. The Peru pima cotton is so soft and comfortable....fits just right. I have them in almost every color you have ever had.....I have them with holes for when I am outside working in the garden....I have them stained and use them for working in the house....the newest ones I save for dress up, these are the new colors that don't yet have holes or stains.
And this season....I see only 5 colors....no new colors....only white, cream. black, pink, and sold out peach....what is going on!!!!!!!! The misses sizes have almost 20 colors and the women's only 5.....what is going on!!!!!!!
Please tell me why you have no new....or even old nice....colors. I really like LLBean.....I really like to shop with ya'll.....I really don't like having to search for another company that has the right size...the right color....the right fitting v-neck long sleeved pima top.
Please tell me what is going on!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by doxiepuppy Sleeves extremely looong!
I'm no orangutan but the sleeves unfortunately are extremely long, beyond my middle knuckles. Very good quality though. I would have returned them but I don't feel like waisting $6.50. Too bad.
Recommended for very long arms only!!

I absolutely love these shirts and have bought a lot of them over the years. As with the "One star reviewer," I am 5'7" and felt like the shirts were getting shorter. I measured the under arm seam to the bottom of the garment on a new shirt and one that is a few years old. The results were astounding. The older shirt measured 171/4". The new shirts I bought last year was 15 3/4". I wash these shirts in cold water, delicate cycle, and hang to dry. I wasn't going crazy after all. I resorted to going to a competitor for a longer torso v-neck cotton shirt. It was longer but no one can match the quality of LLBean.
Dear powers that be, please go back to the longer torso so that I can be your customer again. I am very sad and you have lost a valued customer. So, my review is 2 stars only because of the fit, but I would recommend it to a friend that is shorter than me because the fabric quality is outstanding.

I have several elbow sleeve, long sleeve, three-quarter sleeve. The ones from Peru are the best ever, perfect fit, lovely soft lustrous. The ones from Cambodia are smaller, harder, less comfortable. Five Stars for Peruvian. One star for Cambodian.I would only order if I could get the ones from Peru.

You use to make this style in plus sizes, but not anymore. Please make them again and with more colors. I am not buying any tops because of this and I bet that I am not alone on this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by beanaholic50 Way too open at the neck
First the fabric feels wonderful, but that's where the goodness ends.
The long sleeve v-neck's neck is much wider open than the neck on the short sleeve V-neck, which is made fairly nicely - I don't think that even skinny people look attractive with that much chest acreage showing and it's especially bad for any woman over 40, or so- why make them so different?. And lately all the pima shirts (all styles shrink like there's no tomorrow! I am 5'-7" and these shirts are just at the verge of being almost too short for me anyway. Why won't LLB ever offer these in tall sizes???? After washing they shrink at least 2 inches the first time and continue to shrink further with each wash. After about 4 washes they fit me like a crop top and that is just horrible. I've tried completely avoiding the dryer and still get excess shrinkage. LL Bean, if you could get the pima fabric preshrunk - even if you have to charge a couple more dollars each -it would be SO MUCH BETTER!! Please consider this.

Being a retailer is tough...pleasing all the people all the time, but LLBean is still doing a good job for me providing wardrobe staples.
I just got several of these shirts and LOVE them. I am in my sixties, and the "V" is perfect for me..not too low. They are a great quality pima cotton, and mine have never shrunk. They are also a perfect length for me, as I am getting tired of everything getting so long (which I know appeals to a younger set), and no problem with the sleeves.
I know returns are a bother, but these are worth a try.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Meadowy Sleeves Too Long
I have bought these in the past and the sleeves were a little too long, but now they are so long that I cannot where the shirt. I love the red color though. The quality seems OK . I also bought a pair of pima cotton pj's that were at least 4-5 inches too long! LL Bean's sizing used to be very good but in the last year or two it's different. I hope you improve your sizing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by penbate Not a V-neck
I have almost every color in this shirt. I like the shirt, however, they just tacked the scoop neck in the middle and call it a v-neck. It looks like a scoop neck with a small pleat in it. Make it a true v-neck. Even the model shows that it is a scoop neck with a small tack in the middle. Can we get any cheaper?

Nice shirt for the cost.
A little boxy at the waist but better than some of the tight fitting shirts made "now a days".
I was apprehensive about the width of the V-Neck as shown on the "model" but it does not slug off the shoulders or show cleavage.
Happy with this shirt, overall.
