Softest, Most Comfortable T-shirt You'll Ever Want. Pima Cotton is the best!!! I want one in every colour. I think they fit true to size. They wash incredibly well. : )

I have been ordering these shirts for years and was wondering if it was my imagination or not that the shirts shrink after washing. After reading all of the other reviews I realize I was right. Please make them longer if they are gong to shrink or preshrink the material, which is even a better Idea, which is what I do when I sew something for myself.

Rated 2 out of 5 by cjmac46 Sleeves too long
I've ordered knit shirts from LL Bean before and have not had this problem. The sleeves of the regular misses size are much too long. I have reordered same shirt in Petite. Hope it's not too short.

Love this Pima cotton. The colors are good and the feel is soft and smooth. The fit is close to the body. I prefer the crew neck design as it is wearable all seasons. This shirt looks good enough for many occasions paired with a blazer or sweater. I don't give it 5 stars because the length is short, and it shrinks a bit. Definitely a cold water wash and hang dry after a very brief tumble in the dryer. Doesn't wrinkle!

Rated 5 out of 5 by WNCshopper Nice, but where's the long-sleeved v-neck?
I ordered this crewneck tee and it is perfectly fine. Nice fabric. Classic. But what I really wanted was its companion, the long-sleeved pima v-neck tee. The v-neck has seemed to disappear. I consider the v-neck to be the perfect top...can be worn year-around, for yoga and Pilates or can be dressed up for smart casual wear. Apparently the v-neck has been discontinued. Please bring the long-sleeved v-neck pima tee back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by dragonflyblue So lush!
This is the first time I have bought a Pima cotton tee and I am hooked. The fabric is so lush and soft and very comfortable. The fit is perfect. I will definitely get more of these. Also, the color is very rich and exactly as it looked in the picture.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Holdrege Please change colors!!
These are great shirts, they keep their color, I have worn them for years and the fit is great....BUT.....please, LLBean, change your colors! I can only wear your black as pastels are not for me. You have had the same range of colors for YEARS and I would buy so many more if you had some subtler earth tones!

I see quite a few have said this tee is too short. I'm 5'4", and the length is PERFECT!!!! Everything about this is perfect. Maybe a "Tall" version could be made for those who think it's too short.

Rated 3 out of 5 by joyandjerry84 Soft cotton, but sized too small due to shrinkage.
One definitely needs to size up, as these shrink, even with washing in cold water and drying on low heat, as per washing instructions.
Generally, an LL Bean small is a generous fit on me due to the overall high product quality. I am slender (118 lbs.). But this seemed a bit snug, even before washing, during which it shrunk quite a bit, especially in the sleeve length. As other reviewers have noted, it could also be a bit longer, especially for the price. Apparently I am not the only one having this issue, as it seems as if one cannot get a quality cotton tee that does not shrink anywhere. Why don't they use pre-shrunk cotton?
Fortunately, Bean offers exceptional customer service, and I returned the smalls and got a medium, which was a little large, but then "shrunk" down to a small.
Soft, silky feel to the material is a plus.

Rated 1 out of 5 by AWLooney Disappointed
I recently purchased this knit tee and was disappointed to find a seam in the neckband. For almost $30.00, the band should be better quality...one piece. I had to return. I have always purchased my tees from Beans. Will have to look elsewhere.
