Shipping was quick. New bars replaced those no longer wide enough. Solid bars. My quibble with Thule is with the endcaps for the ends of these bars. They are forever falling off and being lost. Recommend you tape them to the bars with black electrical tape. Do not keep buying and replacing lost ones, instead just tape over the ends with the same electrical tape. Or maybe duct tape.

I am using these with the 450 brackets on a Jeep Cherokee to haul 2 kayaks. Very strong combination. Rating a 4 only because they are noisy at highway speeds. I have another Thule rack, with longer square bars, to haul canoes on another vehicle. Have used it for years. Very happy with it also.

These load bars created a very loud noise whenever you went over 40 MPH. Took them back and Bean graciously exchanged them for Thule's newer more aero dynamic load bars. Problem solved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by spikebirder better being square
great bars, better than the old Yakimas I had, and fit kit is available for my car, where Yakima doesn't seem to be keeping up. I like the square bars better than the round ones, which tended to spin no matter how tight you got them.

These are good load bars. After using Yakima and Thule racks, I prefer square bars.

Very happy with our purchase so far. Purchased these bars to mount our ski rack on for the winter season. We like the flexibility of the Thule system and look forward to adding kayak and general travel accessories as well to the mounting bars. These were easy to install and seem durable.

I recently ordered the roof rack for an '05 Honda Element. It was very easy to install, and your website made finding the right style and necessary attachments idiot-proof!
