Rated 1 out of 5�by PastorFun No inside compartment I cannot believe in this age of computers LL Bean did not include an inside compartment to separate papers from the computer. The compartment is very roomy, but an inside divider would be so helpful in organizing items as well as keeping the computer safe. It is a bit awkward to lift the flap up to retrieve things in the outer pocket but the clasps are easily manipulated. I love the professional look of this bag but the lack of an inner compartment tips the scale for me to return it. April 19, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5�by mbc52 Shoulder strap -poor design This bag is great...however, the padded piece of the shoulder strap is curved instead of straight, and this makes it impossible to sit correctly and comfortably on the shoulder. So only buy this bag if you plan to hold on by the handles! April 16, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5�by bacoop Sportsman's Deluxe Briefcase (TC149539) I have received, for free, cases at trade shows that are far superior than this breifcase. It is not anything close to the way it is presented in the website. The nylon fabric is very thin and the leather appointments feel like inexpensive synthetic material. I do not think this briefcase would last more than a few years of daily use. This product is not what I had expected from LL Bean...very disappointed. I am promptly returning it. April 2, 2013

I also included monogramming in my purchase. I am been very impressed with functionality - nice side compartments and also the expansion ability. Lots of pockets and zippers, a place for everything, comfortable strap, great looking, and extremely well made (he chose this after borrowing mine for a plane trip - mine is 20+ years old, used, and looks great).
