I am sorely disappointed in this sleeveless shell. I washed it for the first time in cold water and hung to dry to prevent any shrinking. I was very surprised to find it had shrunk at least 2 inches in length. I was very surprised because I have bought numerous items from llbean and found them to have been of the highest quality.

I have several sleeveless Pima cotton shirts from a couple of years ago. They hit at the top of the hip bone and had darts at the bust and were very flattering. This time, I ordered one size larger but was very surprised and disappointed to receive the new ones that did not have the darts, were the same diameter as the earlier ones (one size smaller), and they fell 3-4 inches lower. Also, the side seam was completely straight rather than with a gentle waist curve. Very disappointed. Will have to return them.

I love pima cotton tops, they're the best! So soft and good quality that lasts for years.
I just wish you could make a version of a top tank with thinner straps and racerback for hot Summer days and to wear as a pajama top. Pleaseeee!

I have several of these and just love them. I wear them all the time under dresses, sweaters, cardigans, etc. They are modest enough to wear by themselves too. They have a higher neckline than the unshrinkable layering tank. I have had several for a couple of years now and they wash and wear very well. They still look new!

Have a few pima cotton tees from a few years back. Wear them with a pima cardigan in the same corresponding color and they still look great after many years. However, just needed a couple more sleeveless from the array of vibrant colors. The sizing is true.The colors are pretty true to what you see online and in the catalog. WIsh they were also made with a scooped neckline in the 100% pima cotton. Hard to choose but got the faded rose and the jade pine. Another great garment from llbean!

I bought a couple of colours a couple of years ago and got a lot of wear out of them. The material is the right weight for summer and the fit is excellent. They are super soft and do not cling as they are 100% cotton. They are true to size. I bought 4 more colours this year.

I ordered 5 sleeveless tees in different colors because I had ordered some two years ago and they are a bit big. This time I ordered Small. I was excited when they arrived until I tried them on. The arm holes were immense. I sent them back and ordered extra small and to my disappointment the armholes were the same size as my medium from a few year ago. The fabric is very nice, the length is nice and long, and the colors are wonderful, but the arm holes gap. There is no where to go from extra small so I sadly sent them back and will make do with the ones from two years ago. I must say the L.L. Bean's return policy is top notch.

These are great shells, I have a number of them, I think about every color except pink (I am not a pink person). The colors hold up great and they wash so nicely. The fit is perfect for me. Another great LLBean product. Thanks
