Rated 5 out of 5 by BeanPreferrer One more trip to Quetico
I always wish for reviews from buyers that have tested products hard. I have worn these boots in the worst mud, slop, snow, rocks, brush and conditions I wished I hadn't got myself into from Ontario to the AR border. I was about to order my second pair of Bean Boots and decided my 20 year old pair could make one more trip to Quetico. Bean replaced the bottoms on them 10 years ago and I think they'll make it. I love simple, good quality and luckily Bean offers that and the only outfit that offers a narrow width for my skinny foot. I am getting a new pair this fall mainly to make sure the cobblers at Bean stay busy and assume the next pair will last me till I get to the nursing home. You won't regret buying this boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CJGBuffalo85 Perfect boots for Buffalo weather!
I normally wear a size 8-8.5 shoe, after reading several reviews, I decided to order a size 7 and they fit perfectly (with or without thick socks). The quality is incomparable, plain and simple! Moreover, these boots are just as comfortable as my Nike sneakers. Stop hesitating and order these boots right now (just be sure to order a size down).

My husband has always wanted a pair of Bean Boots, so when I visited the store on a vacation trip, I bought him a pair for our 30th wedding anniversary. Since I didn't have room to bring them home on the airplane, the Freeport store shipped them to my home address at NO CHARGE! Thanks LL Bean for my husband's, "best boots ever!!"

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ranger173 Very well constructed and comfortable boots.
These boots are very well constructed and have high quality leather. Even the laces are a step above the norm, which was a surprising detail. I normally wear a size 10 1/2, so I ordered an 11, and I am well pleased with the fit. If you have 10 cent feet, buy 10 cent boots. If you value your feet, buy these boots.

I wore my boots for the first time on an eight mile turkey hunt. Four miles were up a mountain and then down again. One of the first times that I can remember not getting a blister with new boots. It was nice to be able to feel the trail that I was on. If all goes well, they will be used on a hunt in Montana this fall. Great boots for the price! Also if you expect professional help from a company you will not be disappointed.

I bought these for my 9 year old son. He loves them. They keep his feet dry and they are very rugged since we live on a rocky ridge in the woods. He wore them in the house for a day before he wore them outside and they were immediately comfortable not clunky or tight. He can easily climb in them. Bonus that they fit me as well so when he outgrows them I can use them myself.

My fiance and I went to mansfield to look for a pair of bean boots, to try on for size because he wanted a pair and these would be his first. The gentleman at the store was so helpful and provided us with a lot of information about the fit of the boot. When we got home we ordered the pair he wanted, and they were on backorder, but we got them a week later, and they fit perfectly! Great quality, thanks again LL Bean for being wicked awesome!

Got a pair of these bad larries, they fit great. Had them for a couple of weeks now and a couple of storms, one with enough slush to keep your local boardwalk's Sno Cone stand operating during July. My feet remained dry except for the damp from the cold sweat of terror we all experience when we shovel.
Used to have a pair of these and wore them while working concrete foundations. After awhile, the rubber got destroyed and I sent them in to get re-soled. No questions asked from LL Bean. Got them back almost new and they had cleaned the leather to...wait for it...boot. They also sent a small note asking what on earth had I done to those boots. Anyway, they disappeared under mysterious circumstances a few years back about the same time my brother acquired a pair under equally mysterious circumstances and here I am reviewing these boots.
