I wanted to love these jeans! The quality of the garment is great; I love the flannel, too! My issue is with the sizing/styling.
The hips and seat are (I think) disproportinately large. The legs are, also. I don't know if it is just the way they fit me, or if others have had problems with the pants, but I would buy several pair, if they would offer some with smaller legs.
I also ordered the Straight Leg version of these, with the same result. Both are going back.
I needed them to wear to the barn on blustery days.

I have been wearing these lined jeans from llbean for many years.. They are so well made. I wear them on my farm in the winter so they get a lot of tough farm work including bucking hay. These jeans are so warm, but on extremely cold days, they are roomy enough that I can wear a pair of thin leggings underneath them. Much better than wearing quilted coveralls which can be very bulky. Love them.

Am very disappointed in the fit. Have purchased these for years, and now they seem to have different proportions. The rise from crotch to waist is shortened, causing an uncomfortable fit. Due to the higher crotch, my 32" M/T fits a little short.( And I have shrunk these last few years too!) I regretfully have to return my size 10 M/T and my daughters 4 M/T as the price was a great sale price. I may try exchanging for a Tall size, they may have a longer rise. I am at a disadvantage as the LLBean store does not carry Med/Tall sizes so always have to order online.

Love them, have had 2 pairs previously and have outgrown them so ordered my third pair one size up for a little more comfort. I'm 5'7" and order the medium/tall version for the right length, medium was a little short. Tall would definitely need to be turned up at the bottom, medium-tall I can do that with some shoes. Fit is good through the hips and waist, (I have a long waist too) minimum stretching out as I wear them. These are great for fall/winter football games, winter dog walks and more.

I used to think lined jeans were for wimps. Boy was I ever wrong!!!! More comfortable than insulated underwear and jeans. My wife and I ordered another pair each.

I purchased my first pair of flannel jeans last year and they were 1 size 10 average. They have gotton short and tight in the waist.

These jeans are just what I had in mind. Warm for midwinter days inside the house or outside on a chilly day. They were a tad long, but I need to shorten most pants. The quality is great and worth the price.

The best. Should have bought them a few years ago. The temperatures this year have been frequently under 32, with the wind chill factor 16 and with these lined jeans I want to stay outside and continue my walk. They are comfortable wearing them outdoors as well as indoors.

I am an average size 6 petite. Following the information from several reviews, I ordered a size up. While the jean material is good quality with nice lining and also pretty warm, the fit is poor enough to make me think twice before wearing these and I do not find them very comfortable.
1. The petite length is about an inch too short.
2. The waist is a little too high - a tiny bit over the belly button - and is much tighter than normal for an 8 and even a 6. The waist feels like a 6 that runs small or an average-to-small 4. The rest of the jean fits well enough, but not the waist - they can be uncomfortable to sit in and leave marks. I guess I needed a 10 even though I'm a 6!?
3. The lining and cut make the jean not particularly flattering - the hips appear a little bulky - so I prefer to wear these only with a long top that covers the hips/waist/rear.
4. I think I would have preferred a darker wash but when I purchased these darker washes were not available or out of stock.
