I am a dead on 9.5, but these slippers are offered in whole sizes only. From the reviews I was unsure if these ran big or small, so I ordered both a 9 and a 10. Both sizes were exactly on size. The 9 was tight and the 10 was a bit big. So I kept the 9, hoping that it will stretch. For $90, why can't I buy the right size for me ?

My house has hardwood floor everywhere and tiles in the bathrooms. My feet would be freezing with only socks on in cooler/cold season. These keep my feet warm and the wool lining feel nice and soft. I wear them usually without socks. I love these so much that I will have to buy the ones with no wool lining when the spring comes.

I'm a woman but order them for me! I like leather soles and hate fleece or sheepskin linings. They're fantastic slippers, made really well. I just wish llbean would make the same thing for women in a slightly less masculine color.

Most comfortable slipper I have ever owned, and I have owned many a pair of slippers. Extremely well made. Attention to detail - stitching, finish, etc. etc. outstanding. Mold to feet perfectly.

I love these slippers. My wife calls them house shoes. People have complained about the durability, but I've had no issue. I wear them outside only occasionally, like to take garbage out. Otherwise, I wore them all winter in the evenings and on weekends with no problems.
They are super comfortable. And my favorite part it that they don't get gross and grimy like regular slippers because your feet sweat less.
It's about 48 degrees on 9-11 I chicago, so I pulled these awesome slippers out of the closet and am wearing them again.
Definitely recommend. They're expensive, but I used to spend 20 or 30 bucks a year. At this rate, I'll make it at least 3 years before I have to buy another pair. And they're way better than those 20 dollar ones!

All I can say is awesome! Nothing like kicking back on a Sunday and being comfortable. Bottom is a little slick on carpet, but that's the only down side. I found them to be comfortable and while a tad snug initially they do run true to size and broke in nicely.

My husband loves these, and he wears them any day he's at home. He likes the rugged look and how well they wear. So this was his 3rd pair, I think, and I'll be ordering them again when they wear out. Even with the frequent wear it usually takes him about a year to wear them out. Once he gets a new pair, he leaves them for the cat to sleep on under his desk ... everybody's happy!

After reading a couple negative reviews about the durability of these L.L. Bean unlined double-sole leather moccasins, I just had to add my "two cents." These moccasins are absolutely great! I've had mine for several years and have found them not only to be quite comfortable, but extremely durable, too. I wear mine more as casual shoes than as house slippers -- I wore them to work today, in fact -- and they handle both outdoor and indoor duty beautifully. I think the key to making them last is avoiding getting them wet and avoiding rough walking surfaces, such as gravel paths/driveways. I've worn soft sole moccasins as my preferred footwear since about age 5, and these L.L. Bean mocs are among the most durable I've ever had. So, if you take good care of these mocs, they'll take good care of you, too, for a very long time to come. They're well worth the asking price, no doubt about it!

Bought a pair of these moc's about 10-11 months ago. Today, I must toss them in the trash. I found them to be very comfortable and worn them often, however, both the inner and outer soles have worn through, AND... the stitching on the toes have torn through the leather leaving my bare toes without a home - hmmmm. They were worn mostly in the house on carpet and tile with an occasional trip to the patio. They have never left my property and I find $90 bucks too much to spend for 10 months service from a quality (?) product purchased from my beloved 'Bean'. I'm going to try the ones made from Bison hide, maybe they will last longer than these made from leather.
