Rated 5 out of 5áby Pillowcases Lightweight, attractive, cozy & warm
One thing that caught my eye about this item was that it was available in colors. Most down comforters only come in white, or off-white. If you want anything else, you need to purchase or sew your own comforter cover, which costs extra $$.. Our choice is a very pretty blue. It looks great in our bedroom.
Several reviews of this item complained about it being "noisy." and "crinkly" - enough to make some return their item to the store.
I didn't find anything negative in the "sound" of the comforter. I would recommend this comforter to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5áby ScootsJW Warm and Cozy
This is actually my first Down comforter purchase so I was a little nervous because my husband and I both have allergies to animals but yet have heard good things about Down. We ordered in November and it was a backorder so we just received it this month. I have to say that both me and my husband really like it. It wasn't as poofy as I thought it might be so that was disappointing but it is extremely warm and lightweight. We chose the green which matches our bedroom dÚcor very well. And no sneezing so all is good! I highly recommend this comforter. It keeps us very warm, it is decorative and very affordable! Don't think about it anymore, just buy it, DO IT!

Rated 5 out of 5áby Samskara An economical luxury
I suppose down comforters are a luxury item -- most of us have central heating. Still, as compared with a conventional comforter, down is a little bit lighter and a little bit warmer, and just a little bit nicer. I bought this to replace an old down comforter that had been a poor chopice (not by me) because it was simply too heavy. The old one would have been fine if I needed a comfroter on a New England camping trip, but for indoor use it was overkill. It turns out that the light weight is far more practical -- for me anyway.
This one seems to meet all reasonable standards. It's lighjt and warm. I haven't found any quills sticking through the cover or bits of down floating in the air.. The baffles seem to be well designed -- no areas where the down collects leaving other areas uninsulated. It does the job it's supposed to.
A major advantage, though, is the fact that it comes in colors. Most down comforters are covered in a sort of cream color fabric and require a duvet cover. I suppose the duvet cover offers some protection, but it's also a pain since the comforter isn't evenly distributed inside the cover. Also, it turns out that the cover costs almost as much as the omforter itself. I really don't understand the pricing, but if you add the price of a traditional comforter to the price of a cover, this one seems very economical.
I notice that other reviewers mention that the comforter, or at least the fabric, makes noice when it moves. It does make noise, but I would have to say the degree of annoyance is subjective. I'm not at all bothered by it, but obviously other people are. I have no advice to offer on that score.

Rated 5 out of 5áby ChristinesBean Perfectly warm
Had been looking online for a deal for a down comforter. Found that LL Bean had competitive prices and I bought confidently with beans rep and return policy. I was not disappointed! The color of the blue is better than than the pic as others noted. However all that really matters is the warmth and comfort and this one has it. I sleep in a room in the mid 50s during the winter and all I need is this comforter. It's very light weight and comfortable. If its a little colder I throw a blanket on top but I'm no longer sleeping under multitudes of blankets nor am I overheating. This feels light because feathers are light and you don't need a ton. Some people noticed a rustling noise but that's normal for down. Wouldn't have even noticed if hadn't read

Rated 5 out of 5áby ChuttyGirl light but warm
I read all the other reviews before I bought this comforter. It is lightweight, but quite warm. It does have an odd crinkly noise, but it isn't offensive, and it doesn't keep us awake. Great buy, wish I would've bought this first, instead of spending money (wasted) on other quilts, comforters, etc!

Rated 5 out of 5áby LadyAnneMarie Down Comforter
Just love it, it's the perfect comforter, not to heavy just right. My husband and I are delighted with this purchase. Best part, you don't even need a duvet cover for it. So glad we got this for ourselves....

The comforter is really crinkly, which I hope will subside with time. For now, I wake my husband every time I roll over...

Rated 1 out of 5áby Bestshopperever Noisy and heavy
The outer material should be a lightweight cover. Although down is wonderfully light weight this cover ruins that feel.
Feels like I'm sleeping under bricks! Secondly, it is SO noisy. The polished cotton material makes a loud bnoise when you move the comforter in any way. Who needs an alarm clock with this?
Will be returning it....not ta all satisfactory.
