Rated 5 out of 5 by AKKJ I like the color and the light weight.
I love the comforter. It is lightweight and yet warm on coool nights. I am still searching for coordinating bed skirt and valence.

This is my fifth LLBEAN down comforter - yes, they will last forever if properly cared for.
They are warm in the winter and cool in the summer months.
I definitely would recommend the quality of the comforter as well as the customer service that is received by LLBEAN.

Rated 4 out of 5 by YankeeLady101 Nice but crinkly sound
I read other reviews before I bought this. As others have said the fabric does make a crinkly sound when you move it. Not terrible, but something you should be aware of if you are considering purchasing this item. Overall I am very pleased with the quality and light weight of this comforter. It is great for the summer.

I LOVE this comforter so much, I ordered another color for a different room!
I live in the south, but love down comforters. This is the perfect weight for year round use (in winter, I'll add a blanket to the bed). It's soft, fluffy and appears very well made. There is no hint of down leakage anywhere. It's very solid--feels like it will last for years.
Best part is-- no more night sweats! I'm a hot sleeper and need a breathable comforter. I was torn between this and the Ultrasoft Cotton Comforter and called LL Bean to get a recommendation. The customer service rep highly recommended this one saying it's what she uses and it's very breathable. SO thankful for her recommendation!
Is it noisy? A little bit I guess. But nothing disturbing or out of the ordinary. Buy one (or two :) You won't regret it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by YosemiteGirl good weight but noisy and it shrunk significantly
Several years ago, I purchased this comforter in King size to use for our house in the mountains. It's cold here at night and the comforter is a great weight. The quality is high and the box stitching keeps the down in place. The cover is thick enough to prevent feathers from popping out.
It is noisy as people say. I was hopeful that washing the comforter would eliminate the noise, or at least make it quieter. However, I postponed washing it as it is king size and I needed a commercial washer - nearest one is about an hour away. I finally took it to a laundry mat, washed and dried it per the instructions and it now measures 98X94 (instead of 107x96#. When on the bed, it does not cover the sides of the top mattress. With a cover on it, it swims inside the cover #which I bought from LL Bean and did not shrink when it was washed per instructions). I may try to return, but it's been several years so not sure I feel right doing that.
pros: good construction, great materials, nice color, warm
cons: noisy and after washing is too small for the bed

Rated 5 out of 5 by morningangel Beautiful lite wt.comforter in Color
After I realized that LL Bean is the best I started to use LL Bean comforters throughout my home.. I have used LL Bean comforters for as long as I can remember. They're well made, durable, do not stain and keep you warm when directions for care are followed. Living in a warm climate I find the year round comforters are best for my family due to ease of care and warmth.

by makerandmomof5 Pretty comforter at a great price!
Personally, I prefer a bedspread, but my tween wanted a comforter for her newly redecorated room. My only requirement was that it be made of natural fibers. This down comforter fit our needs nicely: it came in a color we wanted, had matching sham covers available (purchased separately), and was comfortably priced. The color was true to photos in the online catalog. Some other reviews have indicated it to be "noisy", and while it does make a swishing sound when you move against it, but we find soothing and not at all disruptive. (A very light sleeper may want to take this into consideration, however.) All in all, we are very pleased with this bedding, not only for my wallet, but also for my daughter's comfort.

Visiting family away this Winter, our sleeping accommodations included LLB?s down comforter on the guest bed. We were so impressed by the warmth and comfort we purchased one for our home. A true benchmark of comfort. Well worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KatieR Great Down Comforter
After our last down comforter started to "leak" feathers (not from LL Bean), we decided to look for another one. It's was hard to find a well-reviewed down comforter for a decent price, but this comforter hit all the marks for us. The stitching and construction seems very sturdy, and the queen size is a true queen which was not the case with our last comforter. It did have a slight smell right out of the package which is to be expected. We put it right in the wash and didn't notice any smell after that. I saw some other reviews that said the comforter was "loud"- it is a bit stiff when brand new, but one wash has already softened it. Also, I am used to down comforters which always seem to make a little noise when moved. Overall, a great, reliable comforter for a fair price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by flowerchild48 Great comforter!
I bought this comforter this year because the one I had is a bit too narrow. Either my husband or I would be cold! I purchased this new comforter in queen size. It is much wider and keeps both of us warm. Hopefully, it won't be too warm in our Louisiana summers. I haven't washed it yet, but the other L.L. Bean comforter I had washed beautifully, so I'm hoping this one will do the same. I do miss the satin edges the old one had, but it wasn't available this time. It is a very comfortable comforter and the color (vintage green) is lovely.
