I absolutely love these pants and have been wearing them for years. They hold up well, wash after wash and they're true to size, in my experience.
My only complaint is that they bring back the Black color! Other colors would be welcome, too, but I really miss the Black.

These pants are very comfortable and fit me very well. I am pleased that L. L. Bean has "in-between" sizes as well. I have not washed these pants yet so this review may change in the future.
Also "khaki" is lighter than what I now know as a true khaki color; it is more like stone. "Light khaki" has a yellow tint to it; and "dark khaki" is what I consider to be khaki nowadays.

Rated 3 out of 5 by NotCostanza Wallet wear ....
I have returned a few pair of these pants over the years because the seat wears through from my wallet. I sit on an Aeron chair - with a mesh seat, and apparently, the rubbing of my wallet "bump" on the mesh wears though the chino fabric. I have had a pair wear out in just 6-8 months. Every time I return a pair of these pants, LLBean is quite kind, and accepts the return for a full refund. But it seems like there should be a better solution, or a more sturdy chino fabric. I do not believe that it is appropriate for a customer to return clothing simply because it's worn out. But since these wear through so frequently, I wind up returning them at about a 50% rate - is that taking advantage of the LLBean guarantee? I still buy new pairs for replacement, but I only go for the refund about half of the time. I wear a pair of LLBean wrinkle free Double L Chinos every single day. I have about 6-8 pair in active rotation at any given time. I will sometimes wear a pair 2 times between washings if they are clean, but these pants do not get heavy work use - I have a desk job. Has anyone else had this experience? And no, my wallet is not "Costanza" sized #Seinfeld reference#

by californiajack freying pant cuffs
I like these pants a lot (I have owned 3 pairs), but after about 5 washings, the pant cuffs begin to frey. I notice from the reviews that I'm not alone in this regard. After a couple more washings, they are so badly freyed that the pants are only good for gardening. I've tossed two pair, and the third is about to go.I wish LLB would at least offer a casual Chino with a higher quality fabic. I'd gladly pay for it.

This is my 2nd review of these pants. And they are the 3rd pair we ordered, returning the previous two as being too short. Pants being sold as a 30" length have been: 29 1/2", 29 5/8" and 29 1/4"!!
Otherwise a nice pair of pants but these are going back too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Seattle98133 The hems frayed after too few washes
These would be nice, practical, generic pants, except that the hems got frayed and unsightly after very few washings, so I am exchanging them and hoping for better luck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Riperoo Overall a great pair of pants
Fit was right on, oveall good quality, my only beef is with the hem at the bottom of the pants, by your shoe, they wore through and started to unravel after less than a month, they are just about worn through to nothing at this point, have to trim them after every wash. If they could fix that issue, these pants would be just about perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by King2083 Very nice!
Bought Natural Fit. 34 waist; 30 inseam. Perfect fit and length and matched all my other slacks of same waist/length.
Material has great feel and washed beautifully and came out essentially wrinkle free.
These are a very nice replacement tor Tilley Endurable slacks who will no longer sell with finished hems and cost four time as much. Their loss and my gain!

I love that these pants are stain-resistant and wrinkle-resistant. They come out of the dryer looking absolutely perfect.
They fit my husband very well and looked very "put-together".
Unfortunately, some of the pairs have worn out more quickly than expected, both frayed hems and small holes worn through the rump, right under the back pocket. Usually, my husband can get at least a couple years out of a pair of pants before they even start to fray, but after about a year, I had to get rid of these. It's too bad. They had so much else going for them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by efmwhite Nice Durable pants
They were a little snug so I moved the button about 1/2 inch. Mostly its me. I have to take off another 5lbs. I also had LLbean shorten them to 28 inch length. I can no longer wear a 29 inch. I've shrunk in my old age, but not in the right places!
