One boot has a defect and both are a little too large. We will be returning the boots and maybe trying a smaller size. We hope the defect on the inside of the heal will not appear in a new pair.

The boots were just what my husband wanted. low boot with some insulation for muddy and rainy days. He love his 6 inch insulated boots for winter with the zipper. He has had two part of those. They last for 10 plus years. I have a low cut fur insulated boot I wear when I don't need high boots for snow. They are vary warm
Thanks for telling us to purchase smaller size. the fit is just right,

After trying a competitor's foreign made boot of like style and those boots early demise, I decided I wanted a quality boot. I paid a bit more, but, the difference in quality was remarkable. I even got to use them in a couple of early Wisconsin spring snows and they were great !! Many thanks to my "stitcher" !! Large difference in quality and workmanship. Thanks !!

I wear a 14 EE. bought a 13 and the shoe was enormous on me. Be careful to size correctly. I suggest calling before ordering for sizing help, as I did not and now need to return the shoes

Rated 5 out of 5 by TrimanandGardener third pair over 10 years
Just bought my third pair over the past decade. I use them in the rain, to walk the dog and for gardening--they are waterproof, comfortable and easy to get on and off. If they get too muddy, you can wash them with a garden hose or in the sink. They dry relatively quickly, and the leather remains supple. Great shoes!

Godd combination with thinsulate, can be used for damp rainy weather as well as winter sleet and snow. Well made, a worthwhile purchase!

As with other reviewers, commenting on this shoe, I will add the same complaint, which is that the top of the tongue puckers. Solve that issue and the shoe would be almost perfect.

These shoes are very comfortable they have great traction in all conditions. They are stylish enough to be worn in the office all day without the need of bringing another shoe to change into. They are worth the investment..

Rated 5 out of 5 by lighthousetraveler nice bad weather shoes
I had a cheap brand of duck shoes years ago and liked them but they didn't last. With this harsh winter I decided to get another pair. I looked at a lot of brands and reviews and settled on LL Bean. Even though it took me longer than expected to get them -- the demand was so high this year that they ran out of my size -- I really like them. My feet are narrow so I wondered if even the narrow width would run wide but the fit is great. And the thinsulate really works. Now if they're as long-lasting as the reviews indicate, I'll still be a happy camper in many years. The price was more than others but the quality is what I was after. So far I'm very satisfied.
