Rated 4 out of 5 by Jonfi Good quality but small diameter
As several others mentioned these are a little smaller than standard wooden oars and this makes fitting them with regular clamp type oar locks somewhat more difficult. Wrapping them in a couple layers of old inner tube rubber fixed the problem.

Bought these oars to use with my Old Town "Sportsman" canoe with the "Old Town" supplied oar locks. Much searching and researching on the Web revealed them to be the correct length, the recomended oar, and the best price. Very happy with them and they row quite well.

Plastic handle & blade with a metal shaft, used them several times to go from the dock to the mooring (in a rowboat). The paint scatches off easily, they are sturdy and suitable for the harbor. Don't know if I'd row across the ocean with them. They're good light duty oars.

Boat oars seem fine, have a Pontoon boat, so I needed something long enough to reach the water with out bending over the front of the boat. There in there, but hope that I will never need them. :)
