I asked for fingerless gloves and that's exactly what I got. They're warm enough but don't have that extra cover for the exposed fingers when you don't need the "fingerless" part. Otherwise, they're great. As a nursery professional, they keep my hands warm but the men's small are a little too big so if you're hands are fairly small don't get them. Unfortunately, it''s difficult to find this type of glove for women so I hunted them down in the mens section. Because I work in a nursery, these gloves have been great for all the tough work that needs to get done. They protect my hands from small thorns, broken pottery and whatever else comes up. I like them and would recommend them even tho they are too big for me.

Surprised and disappointed to report the cut and fiinish of these overpriced gloves are substandard and inferior. I normally wear men's large, but the small size was so big it almost fell off my hand. A real shocker from trusty LL Bean.

These are a good value and should do the job well. I'll know in a week in Alaska. Be forewarned that they run large. I saw this and ordered the small ones. I have a large hand and they fit perfectly.

I purchased these gloves for my husband who fishes during the winter months (midwest). I measured per the instructions and got a little nervous and decided to jump up a size and purchased large rather than the medium. The gloves were slightly big which shows they are true to size. He is still quite happy with them and because he uses them for fishing the larger size was not a problem.

I normally wear a mens small glove, but these were much too wide. I like the style, but these fit like a men's medium or large.

Bought these for my husband. We live in the mid-west area and he fishes during what we consider cold weather. I purchased the next size up from his hand measurements were and they were slightly big on him so they are true to size; however, he did not mind as it made it easy and comfortable to fish in without his hands feeling confined.

These gloves are very comfortable. However, I normally wear large size gloves, and only the small size of these gloves fit me well. Even the medium size is too big for me.

These are fine gloves except for one thing: they run quite small. I wear an XL or L in other brands, but only a S fit properly with this glove. A big plus is that these are the only fingerless gloves I know of that have a palm patch of grippy material.

I bought these as I work in a drafty office and wanted something to keep my hands warm. That they did...but they were far too bulky to wear when I needed to use a computer. I took them back and will continue to use the thin knit ones I already own.

I ordered these gloves because I am unable to wear regular gloves on my right hand due to an injury, and I thought that fingerless gloves might be a good solution. Unfortunately, size small was much too big. Okay, they are sized for men and I'm female, but I had hoped the small would fit.
They are nice, soft gloves and would be great if they fit. So I would recommend them for men, but want to let women know that they run large. Does LLBean make fingerless gloves for women?
