These are great! Order them a size smaller than you'd normally wear. I also got narrow and that fits perfectly. They are super on rainy and muddy days.

Tried the slip-on moc but my heel is too narrow, causing the shoe to slip. Tried these with my fingers crossed, and they are perfect! Comfortable right out of the box, no break-in needed. So glad to get these for our upcoming trip to Alaska. Thank you.

These boots are a great daily wear boot if you live in a wintry location. They are light and comfortable, but still very warm. Watertight. LL Bean boots are top quality and absolutely the best boot you can buy.

The quality of these boots was obvious right away. I followed the sizing recommendations and ordered a size 8, though normally wear a 9. Even with medium warm socks, these fit perfectly. They will be perfect year round for all kinds of outdoor wear when conditions are wet, muddy,or cold. One little wish is that the laces were a bit longer. I like to double tie the laces on boots and can't do it with these. I highly recommend these boots.

I could not be happier with these boots. I normally wear a size 9 1/2 and I ordered Size 8. They are perfect. I chose these boots because I don't always want to wear a full boot when there is not much snow on the ground. I look forward to wearing these boots a lot here in Upstate New York.

Follow the sizing guideline, I downsize from my normally size 7 to 6, and they fit perfectly. However, my first pair of these llbean boots just didn't feel right when I put them on. As I walk, the inner side of my foot feels pressure. After 2 weeks of very gentle use, the leather located at the upper part of the back of one of my boots ripped. I contact llbean, and the customer service representative agreed to send me a second pair. They arrived after 2 days and once I put them on, I immediately noticed the difference - there was no more pressure at the inner side of my feet. I kept the second pair and it has been a year from purchase. I really love these boots, as they've keeping me warm and dry from the rain and snow. However, they do show sign of wear at the heel - I am afraid I might need to get another pair because I can see the black material underneath the brownish rubber on both my boots as they worn out.

I purchased these shoes about two years ago, and they've lasted brilliantly through wet/snowy weather in many different terrains. A sign of rain? Out come the Bean boots.
These things are built to last, and unlike many items, built very well. As many have mentioned, they run a bit large, so go a half-size down. Otherwise, I recommend these with no reservations. If necessary, I'll re-purchase again and again.

I love these boots. They fit very well, and are surprisingly comfortable. I selected the unlined so they would be useful in less chilly, wet weather as well as colder weather. Thick wool socks are easy to wear. These run about 1/2 size larger and so I really did have to order down. Normally in my width I wear a 9.5, but 9 is plenty big. The lace up is perfect. The foot support is perfect.
The only weather situation that doesn't work--ice. Other than that, I have worn these for 2 winters in a row, nearly every day. No evidence of wear on the sole at all.
