I bought this shoe when we moved to the country over 20 years ago when I needed a waterproof slip on shoe. It finally wore out, and I am ever so glad LL Bean still makes it. Thank you!

After 15+ years of daily wear, I finally decided to replace my Bean duck boots. With confidence, I ordered the same size as my old boots, 8 Wide. The new pair is so big in both length and width, that even my biggest wool hiking socks can't keep them on my feet. Comparing them to my old boots, they are almost a full inch longer and have no narrowing toward the heel. I am going to return them to a store in person so I can try on smaller sizes. The boots are still an excellent product, but I am disappointed with the new sizing.

As always with Bean products, these are very well made. They are very generous in width....I almost ordered wide, but it wasn't necessary. The slip on fit is great for for those of us always on the go.

Boot is made extremely well. Had to order down an entire size. I am always an easy size 9 but returned for a size 8. Boots are still a little roomy but very comfortable. I am using the boots for stall/barn work.

I bought a pair of these rubber moccasins years ago in the US and wore them for years until the soles gave out. I have tried 2 pairs of the rubber moccasins and have not been satisfied with either purchase. It's obvious the design has changed for the worse.
The first pair were too large. My shoe size is 7 1/2 or 39. I followed the sizing guide on the webpage which advised to order a 1/2 size smaller unless the intention was to wear the shoes with thick socks. I normally wear thick socks so I ordered a size 8. The moccasins were too large. I gave this pair to charity since the cost of shipping both directions is the same as the cost of a new pair of shoes.
I persevered and ordered a second in size 7. The second pair fits very well in the length and width, but the back of the heel is too low which allows my foot to slip out.
If it were available I would estimate that I would probably fit well into a 6 1/2.
Also the tonge is ackward and does not easily tuck into the shoe. The previous design was able to lace up two holes to provide a snug fit around the top of the foot.
Unfortunately the cost of shipping is not worth returning either pair of shoes. I will not purchase this style again or recommend.

I love the colors these come in now, but the fit is bad. I read the suggestions and ordered the size down. The length was not the problem. The heel is very wide even in the narrow width. I had to return these.

Color was better than expected, true yellow trim is cheerful for a rainy day. Ordered 7 and normally wear 8. Fit is good with room for thick socks.

I was looking for a rain shoe and a shoe I could use near the pond. I like to take my boys down to the pond to fish or skip rocks, and tennis shoes weren't cutting it. Didn't like pulling on my big rain boots (especially in summer), so these were a great alternative. Easy on/off. They stay just outside the door to the house in the garage. Great for rainy days/outdoor chores. I AM A SOLID size 10\11 NORMALLY. ORDERED SIZE 9 AFTER READING REVIEWS--FIT PERFECTLY, IF NOT A TAD TOO NARROW.

Great look, great comfort, and seem to be made so well, I probably will have them forever! The only thing I will caution you is that they seem to run a little large. Had to order a size smaller than I normally wear. Thanks LL Bean for making such a great quality shoe.

Good waterproof boot. I use in garden especially in Spring mud. I would recommend that you order a whole size smaller than you usually wear. They run very large and roomy. Heavy socks works well. My only issue was that I didn't read the reviews before ordering and I sent for my regular size 7. I was swimming in them with a 1 inch void behind my heel. Sent them back (returns are quick) and got size 6. Perfect. Wish LL Bean would include better sizing in there description.
