I was really disappointed to have to return these. I tried my normal size, 9 wide, and while the width was good with fleece socks they were way too long, with a half inch gap at the heel. Even after I used all the tissue in the box to stuff the toes they were too big. I also tried a size down, but the 8 wide would only fit if I didn't wear any socks and my feet get too cold for that to be an option. But they appeared to be well made so if your feet are just the right size you'll probably be happy with them.

I bought these for my Mom this year for Christmas because we plan on moving to Oregon in a year, so I want her to have some comfortable waterproof shoes, and since she has the exact same size foot as mine, I used my measurements to judge what size shoe to get. I am a true-to-the-T 7 1/2 regular, so I read some reviews and decided to go with the 6 M. They fit exactly the way you'd expect them to, being a clog style shoe; you can slip them on pretty easy without being unnecessarily bulky. The laces on these shoes were also loosely tied, and I wanted them to be just a little more tight, so I tightened the laces a little, so they wouldn't unravel, and the shoe itself tightened a bit also, which is a plus. They look cute-my mom`s kind of shoe. I am extremely glad I bought the brown/tan color because they are very attractive, and versatile at the same time <3

Rated 5 out of 5 by WendyLori So happy I chose these
I wear shoe size 5.5 and 6 sometimes. I have reg width. Due to my health, my feet can literally freeze in the winter, so I have to be very careful. I ordered this boot in the size 6 reg, knowing it would be a little big and bought the Shearling Insoles to go with them. There was enough room for me to leave the insole that comes with this shoe, and the shearling insole. I put them on as soon as they came, and I don't want to take them off. They look really nice on, they feel wonderful, and they are super warm. They are a heavy shoe, as to be expected, and they can be tied to preference. I always wear my shoes inside of the house for a full day to make sure they are what I want, and I just love these.
PLEASE LLBEAN: MAKE MORE SIZE 6 reg in the Burgundy Brown/Carbon Navy/Powder Blue???
I bought the Tan/Navy, and they are classy and beautiful, but, of course I would like them in the mentioned color too because I like these comfortable warm shoes so much! Also, thank you to LLBean Cust Service. They were so helpful in helping me find the right shoe and knowing or looking up the answer to every question I asked.

When it comes to shoes I can wear from 8 to 9.5, it all depends on the shoe because my feet are a little wide around the front area. I ordered an 8 regular. Too big. With running socks they still slip. The amount of pulling to tight them is too much and will change them for a 7. I live in the tropics, no snow but rain n mud, no need for thick socks. If I did I would keep them in 8. Just remember they run big and as you can see in the pics, wide, but is the ankle area is that's really wide. Maybe a narrow size might help in the back, but the front feels perfect and in my case the size 8 regular was mainly a little too long. Besides that, they are super comfortable, enough to wear without socks and they look really good. The lining is soft. Navy blue and tan looks great. Will return and change for a 7. Loved them and can't wait to get them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dooleysmom They run VERY big
I gave these shoes an average rating based on how big they were. I ordered a size 8 womens. I am normally an 8.5 in boots, sneakers, hiking shoes..etc. The size 8 are way too big. I tried with heavier socks and still too big. I like the overall shoe, but I had to order the size 7. I will be returning the 8 to my local store. My advice is to order at least a full size smaller than you would normally wear.

I read probably a 100 reviews trying to get the size right, because they run very large. I wear between an 8.5 and a 9 with a med width. I ordered a size 7 med and they fit perfect. I do not like to wear thick socks but if you do I highly recommend you order a wide not a larger shoe size, because there is still enough room in the length. Hope this helps someone.

by Debordoodle I Love These Shoes
They came in last night and I have not wanted to take them off. They look great, feel sturdy and they are well made and very comfortable.
I normally wear a size 6.5, so I ordered a 6. In the color I wanted, the narrow width was sold out, so I took a chance on the medium. Lengthwise and in the width there is a bit of extra room, just like the video says there should be. I'm wearing an everyday medium weight sock and when I walk they slide a bit and feel... well - casual. There should be room for a heavy sock which I will probably want later this week! So now I'm glad I didn't get the narrow ones.
I have a narrow heel and have trouble with mules and flats falling off my feet when I walk. So I was prepared to have to return these. But the front comes high enough that it's not an issue. I tightened up the laces just a smidge and they stay on my foot without effort.
Before purchasing I read the sizing notes and viewed the video and I'm glad I did. If you are considering these boots, please take the time to do this.
If you wear a size 6 and plan to always wear these with heavy, insulated socks, you might be able to do these. Smaller footed ladies are out of luck in this style.
I still don't want to take them off...

Rated 4 out of 5 by JoyeFamily Quality product, odd sizing
I bought the bean boot mocs for when it's rainy in New England in the Fall and Spring, and the weather is wet, but the temperature unpredictable. Thus far, they are a great choice for that task. Since they are not lined they work on warmer days, but there is space for warmer socks. The quality is lovely, and I bought the boot guard leather dressing to reduce discoloration from salt and keep them maximally water proof. My biggest problem is that I am a size 7-7.5 in nearly EVERY pair of shoes I've ever worn. I went with 7, since I often wear 7.5 and want to be able to wear warm socks. However, the length of the boots was such that I would ABSOLUTELY trip. I returned and got a pair in size 6, and these are still pretty large. They slip in the heel still. I'm hoping an added insole will solve the problem. But now that are much more of what I needed. However, size 7 is average and size 6 bean is the smallest they sell! What do peoe with really small feet do? Wear kids bean boots?

Rated 4 out of 5 by Logan90 Great winter shoe
The shoe is comfortable, warm and looks great.
My only complaint is that the heel is too wide. I have wide feet to begin with but my heel still slips. I normally order a size 8 wide but ordered a size down (because of other reviews) and the medium width. They fit great except for the heel, which can be fixed with a thicker sock.
Overall, these are a great pair of shoes to wear with a thick sock!

I just ordered these on Wednesday and had them at my front door on Thursday! Great fast shipping!
I was in need of some wet weather shoes for when I don't want to wear my tall rain boots and these will be great. I wasn't sure what size to order since I wear a 71/2. I decided to do a chat with customer service and they said to order a 6 since I will be wearing them with thin athletic socks or med weight hiking socks.
The 6 was exactly the correct size. I tried them on with both pairs of socks they fit great! I haven't worn them yet but I walked around my house and they felt good. They look very well made and I'm sure will hold up for a long time. I also LOVE the Navy & Fushia color combo. They look just like the photo :)
A lot of people have been complained about the sizing, but if you follow the instructions or just ask their helpful customer service reps, you will get the right size.
