I bought these for my husband, he is a dialysis patient and has spent some time in the hospital. The last time he wanted his own pi's and I could not find him a decent pair so I ordered these. He did not go in the hospital for 2 months, he ask for his pi's. I thought I would run them through the washer before I took them into the hospital, what a mess. Chunks of lint everywhere, and I do mean everywhere, in the washer, in the dryer, on the floor, and all over me. I just finished washing and drying them for the fourth time, they are still covered with balls of lint. I am on my way to the garbage can. My last purchase from LLBEAN!

I bought two of these pj bottoms for Christmas, one for my brother and another for my husband. The colors are great, they're soft and warm, BUT I've already had to re-sew the crotch seams on BOTH pants. Both ripped with normal use. Not cool!

I am so sorry to have to write a negative review. This pair of PJ's sheds worse than our dog!!! I have two other flannel PJ Bottoms that are wonderful but this set is one of the worst products I have ever purchased as far as washing them. They are soft and very nice looking, but before wearing anything I wash it. I washed these four times in one day and got the same result - lint all over the place. I was afraid the dryer would catch on fire with all that lint. I normally love LL Bean products and will continue to purchase from them but am so disappointed in this product. LL Bean please discontinue selling the product.

these are the best pajamas that I have ever worn. Warm, soft, and surprisingly did not shrink after being washed, which I can not say for other brands. I recommend these pajamas.

I am disappointed at this product. After the first wash, lint was everywhere on the PJ and washer. The material doesn't seem to hold up. Compare to the flannel PJ I bought 5 or 6 years ago, this one is definitely inferior. LL Bean - please bring back the old flannel.

These are nice flannel pajamas. I like the design and they are warm and comfortable for the most part. There are a few things, however, that I think could make them great. They need a button at the top... it gets a bit drafty in the cold with an open neckline. They might look a bit better, too, without the collar, but more of a crewneck. The pants could use a drawstring. Also, it would be great if you had a medium tall. I was swimming in the large tall and the regular medium was a bit short on the arms and legs. I'm 6'2", 170 lbs. Lastly, they are a bit thinner than I expected... not as warm and stout as their comparable flannel shirts. I worry about the long-term durability, but only time will tell on that. Still, they're a pretty good pair of pajamas, but could be fantastic with a few changes.

I have purchased much more expensive pajamas's for my husband but NONE wear as well, fit or wash as well as the flannel ones from llbean.
My husband has at least one pair in each color and they hold up after many years of wear. They do not shrink and remain soft even after many washes.
My husband went into a nursing home this year. The facility use hot water to wash and his LLBean pajamas still look great!

My husband loves these pjs. They're soft and cozy, and fit to size. The flannel is a good quality mid-weight, and colours are vibrant. I wish ll bean would offer more colours--solids & subtle plaids, please.

I have never had a problem with lint from flannel pajamas. It filled-up my dryer filter and there were globs of it in my washing machine. Not to mention how much work it took to get it off of the other clothes that they were washed with. The fabric of my husbands old pjs is heftier than these new ones. What happened to pockets in the pj bottoms? $55.00 is hardly inexpensive for pajamas.
They will be returned. You could have done better, LL Bean.
