Rated 5 out of 5áby Scm2 Perfect. Just what I wanted!
I normally order a Large size in jackets (46" chest, 40" waist). After reading many other reviews of this jacket saying that you should order a size smaller, I originally ordered a Medium. Had to send it back. I then ordered the Large and it fits perfectly. The customer rep was very helpful and the return was quick and no hassle. Jacket is exactly what I was looking for in weight, color, style, and quality. I live in Colorado and it will be perfect for what I intend. I ordered the Olive color and the picture is true to what I got. Seems like a good quality item. I've been looking for a field coat for a while. Carhartt's were too heavy. This looks like a winner for a cool day.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Jennings Great looking coat
I live in Arizona. I received this coat on May 31st, so it has not yet been worn outside. The fit is exactly what I expected. The material seems to be tough enough to handle anything it will encounter here in Phoenix or in the mountains when I go fishing later this year.

I think"competent" describes this coat. It is made of fairly heavy material, but I chose it for chilly spring and fall use. My wife loves her heavily quilted version----I have a good coat with quilting and another with just wool-lining. There are a lot of spring and fall days that this fits well.
My favorites are 3! Big buttons, easy to open and close. Double pockets on each side. The big slash pocket ends in a flap over the lower pocket. This pocket arrangement is very handy and rather unusual. My third favorite is the warm, corduroy collar and wrist band. Walking the dog on a brisk spring day, I found turning up the collar tamed the chill wind and avoided some neck pain.
I am losing my hair and would have loved a hood (made of lighter material!). Reviews of a hooded coat of similar "car coat" length were too bad, so I opted for this. It does it's thing well.

Rated 5 out of 5áby EX970 Great jacket for change of season
I'm thrilled with this jacket. It is perfect for the change of seasons. It is perfect for late winter/early spring. The flannel lining keeps you warm, but it isn't a bulky jacket. There is plenty of room for layering. The gusseted shoulder fit makes for ease of movement. All in all a great jacket. Only complaint is limited color selection, but the olive color works.

This jacket is very comfortable and wears well. Bought one about 10 years ago and it finally wore out. Time for a new one.

Rated 5 out of 5áby fast68 Comfortable but not loose fitting
The XL size easily accommodated my 6ft 260 lb frame and provided excellent freedom of movement. The zippered chest pocket had plenty of room for a cell phone and it's case. Even without a sweater,I was comfortable outdoors in 10 degree F weather with a mild breeze.I typically avoid bulky jackets and this lighter weight fabric was exactly what I was looking for.

This is my fourth coat over the years. Extremely comfortable, wear in layers with a big thick sweater for the minus days in the woods.

The online description/photo did not include the button-front... I prefer zipper, The large side pocket were roomy but had no flaps to keep them dry in case of rain. The lining was too warm for Southern California. The color was not to my liking.

I returned the coat as I felt that I needed a warmer coat and one that would be better at shedding rain. I feel a cotton lined coat is not enough protection for fall and spring weather. I will be looking for a step up into a heavier coat.
