First time buying something from LLBean and I am duly impressed. These shoes are awesome! I'm usually a size 7 and so that is what I got after chatting online with customer service (they have excellent customer service by the way). The size 7 fits perfectly! Like any pair of leather shoes there was a bit of discomfort on the heels for the first few days but after breaking into them (give it about a week) they are unbelievably comfortable! I wear them everyday and it just gets better!
They also go with ANYTHING. From sweats to jeans to dresses. So classy. I've gotten so many compliments already!

I have another pair of moccasins from Minnetonka which always turn my socks brown if & when my feet sweat. So I thought I would try a pair from LLBean. Immediately I saw the difference! First, these have great arch support. It's almost as if they included an orthotic in the shoe. Secondly is the quality of the stitching & grommets: these are far superior to the other moccasins. Then there's the soft leather. These molded to the shape of my foot immediately. I walked the dog one damp morning, and my socks didn't turn colors. They are comfortable, easy to put on & take off, and look great! I think I'm going to put in my Will that I want to be buried in these shoes!

I had already fallen in love with the double soled buffalo moccasins and wear them continuously. They allow me to walk softly through this world and cultivate a calm peacefulness with my steps.
However, it does rain occasionally where I live, and I needed something with a rubber sole for those times. I ordered the hand sewn Camp Mocs and was not disappointed. They start out fitting a little bit stiff (slightly narrow across the ball of the foot, wide across the heel) but within one day, they had molded themselves to fit my feet perfectly and are very nearly as comfortable as my beloved all-leather moccasins.
I recommend ordering one size smaller than you usually wear in the length, because they do stretch and they do run a bit large.

These shoes needed only an hour or so of break-in time before thay felt completely comfortable. The materials and workmanship are top-notch. I really like the color--a rich, dark brown... . . .

I have been buying these for years and get nervous when I don't find them in the women's section.
These in white or navy for summer made in leather rather than the suede you came out with last spring//summer would be great for us girls.

I have worn these mocs in the past. I have narrow feet & generally wear a size 9N, but decided to get these since I wanted to be able to slip into them easily. Either they were mis-sized or they are manufactured incorrectly. I could not get either foot into the shoes. When I measured them they were a full inch shorter & over 1/2 inch narrower than other shoes I have. I would have given them one star rather than three, but think the quality of the product is, as usual, excellent.

These shoes fit my feet like they were custom made for me! They fit from the moment I slpped them on my feet. I highly recommend them. Well made and sturdy.

I ordered my usual size 81/2 W. They are very, very wide. The info included with the shoe stated that they would stretch to fit my foot. They have gone beyond that. Otherwise, this is one of the most comfortable feeling shoes I have had in a long time.

This is the first time I am trying out "boat shoes". I knew llbean would have the best quality, so I purchased these. All, I can say is "wow". I have been missing out. These type of shoes are so comfortable. The leather is soft and molds to your feet to make a perfect fit. They will go with any type of skirt, capris,jeans or shorts. They are true to size and fit fine from day one. No breaking in for me. I wear a size 7 1/2 and that is what I bought. Thanks LL Bean, for still having quality items even though the economy is tough. Thanks for not cutting corners and producing "cheaper" made products.

There is no difference in these mocs from one buy to the next. That might be boring to some, but not me. I love the consistent quality and durability of this shoe. Just demote the old pair to knocking around, put on the new and go!
