Rated 1 out of 5 by California50 Miss the Curvy Fit
I've been buying Bayside Pants for years and loved that I didn't have to think about it all, just ordered the same size when my old ones wore out, but the waist on the last pair were too tight. I thought it was me, but then I saw all the other reviews that said the same thing about the original fit. I guess I have to wait for the curvy fit to come back.

I have a fairly normal configuration waist to hips, but the Bayside Original fit pants have a very tight waist and are normal to big in the hips. Very disappointment because they are well made with excellent fabric. Cannot get a bigger size to get a bigger waist because the hips would be much to large. Sad, since it is extremely difficult to find any women's pants with a waist that goes to the natural waist and not one micrometer below. Very disappointed.

About 2 inches too long for petite---dark brown picks up EVERYTHING! Sent back. I had shortened them and wore once.Could not get rid of them fast enough after wearing so washed and ironed them to go back. The LL return policy is the best one would ever find.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NWbiker Great pants, wrong sizes
I love these pants, in the pleated, original style. I still have several pairs that I wear all the time, and I keep coming back with the hope that you will stock the TALL sizes again (with regular waist - not the elastic ones). Those of us who are tall do not have a lot of options for where to buy long pants. Medium tall does not cut it. I am not trying to buy capris!

I have purchased and worn about 10 of these pants in different colors and sizes over the years (I have gained and lost weight) and something is different. My suspicion is that these pants are being assembled/created by a different manufacturer. I'm 5'3" and 127 lbs. The 10 petite (with pleats) used to fit the way I like it -- somewhat loose, just the right length, and not too tight around my butt. But these pants (the last 3 size 10 I ordered are without pleats) now are too tight, hard to button, the rise is too high and the length way too long. This was the one product at LLBean that I thought I could count on, especially when they brought it back. Now I'm disappointed. I'm going to try the size 12.

Have several pairs of these, purchased over 3 years.... In two sizes (!), even. Love them!! They fit me perfectly in both the waist and hips, and are nicely flattering on my body type and comfortable. I wish the same waist and hips came in a straight leg, rather than tapered, because I prefer to wear clunky shoes. I especially LIke the new Dark Cement color. I'm buying several pair to "set back" for later, while there is a sale on.

I ordered three pairs of these pants in different colors. They fit me perfectly! I have a slimmer waist with a little bit wider hips and I'm taller than average. These pants fit me every which way! They're keepers, and I'll definitely order more from this company.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Rusty34119 Please bring back the pleated front
I have worn these pants for many years. I loved them. However, the comfort waist should be tossed out. They are very uncomfortable and do not fit.
Have been buying the plain front but prefer the pleated front. The plain front waist is too tight and too high.

Good everyday pants, fit well, easy care fabric. I wear them almost all the time. So glad LL Bean brought back the original fit. I could not find the equivalent in any other store.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Merl734 Disappointed about Sizing
These pants used to fit great. However, the fit has changed: the rise is too high and shows way too much detail of the backside that is not desirable or flattering for many women. Also, the waist is too tight to be comfortable for many who have had children and who are just about 5 pounds over weight. The style of these pants is more for mature women than teenagers; so the fit does not conform to the style. The style is designed for women 35+, so the rise should be about 1 inch lower and the waist about 1 inch more in diameter to look classy and fit comfortably. Many women wear these pants to work and want to look professional and feel comfortable; and can no longer do so due to the change in fit. Please return these to their original overall sizing. I have been wearing these pants for about 10 years because I wanted to be comfortable while looking fairly neat and professional; and can no longer do so due to the change in fit. I am just under 5 feet tall and weigh around 120 pounds; and I am in no way big; so if these pants are too small for me as a very Petite Size 8, they are way too small for most women who are Petite Medium. The Regular size 8 would not fit Petites well in the hips and legs. The Petite M sizing needs to be changed to fit more mature Petite women.
