I actually went to work in this shoe the day they were delivered. I have never had a shoe do this ...ever. No break in period, so very comfortable. Worth every penny. Thank you L.L.Bean.

Bought these shoes for my husband. They are really nice, hand sewn shoes. He says they are comfortable and give good support. He normally wears an 8 1/2 or 9 regular width shoe. We ordered an 8 1/2 regular (D Width) and sent them back for a 9 Wide EE and they were perfect!

These are great. They conform to your feet within a day or two. I only wish that the came in the dark brown that the slip on now comes in. It would also be nice if Bean considered having these made in the US.

I have had multiple pairs of these shows over the last 40 years and these never broke in. They squeeked from the first day and over the next month of trying them. I'm sending them back to LLBean to try another pair. Thanks goodness for the easy return process.

I have worn about 10 pairs in 15 years. The last 2 pairs wore out prematurly due to the same problem. The heel does not have enough thickness on the outside where air pockets are located and a little wear exposes an air pocket. The rest of the shoe is in great shape.
The air pockets presumably provide the cushioning. Once the air pocket is exposed the shoe disenigrates quickly due to moisture penetration.
I do have a slight roll to the outside on the right foot but this never was a problem before the last 2 pairs. There needs to be more rubber and less air pockets to get these shoes back to 5 star status.
Whatever you were before 2009 worked great.

I bought the blucher mocs after hearing that they were a great alternative to boat shoes for Fall and Winter. They definitely fit the bill and have become my daily shoe for both work and weekends over the past several months. The shoes were tight at first, but quickly stretched to my feet.
While I love the shoe, they offer little support for the feet. It's something I am willing to compromise on, but if your feet already give you problems you might want to look elsewhere or consider some inserts for these mocs.
Otherwise, I'm a happy customer and have since purchased L.L. Bean's handsewn slippers for my father and myself, as well as a pair of Bean boots.

Been wearing the comfort mocs for about a decade now, used to live in their Bluchers. Recently found a pair at the outlet - probably irregular. Rated the fit "narrow" as they were marked EE and fit my usually D feet perfectly. They are sturdy, butter-like leather and feel like walking barefoot but with plenty of comfort thanks to a great insole that cushions without getting in the way of fit or feel.

My husband loves these! I loved the discounted price and free shipping.
I ordered them in his regular size 9.5. At first they were a bit snug, but after wearing them a few times they now conform to his feet.
These exceeded my expectations for style and quality.

I had a pair of the blucher mocs in saddle for about 15 years and 1 seam finally wore out so I bought a new pair. These are very comfortable, look good with chinos or jeans, and are a classic. They last for a long time. I also have the cactus color. Give them a couple of wearings to mold to your foot, and you'll really be glad you got these.

Ordered the mocs to Russia, found them very comfortable and quality made, my mistake though was to order in D width so I felt too tight in the toes. Had to give them to a friend of mine whom they fit very well.
I was planning to order another pair in EE width but unfortunately no size 10 left... What would you advise - have a look at another model or wait for the right size of Blucher mocs to appear in stock?
