These are great boots !!! And I love them and would recommend them. They fit great and are super comfortable from the very first time I wore them, right out of the box. I like the taller height, as they are more supportive. Very warm. Don't really want to take them off. I did have a slight issue with tightness around the top, as one reviewer said. The next time I loosened them a bit, which helped a lot. I am glad there is plenty of room in the toe box, as I don't like scrunched up toes. Can't speak to them being waterproof, as haven't had occasion to find out yet, but certainly hope they are. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bellehelene Great winter boots!
I got these based on reviews and am happy to say they more than meet expectations: They are lightweight, dry, warm, and flexible. Fit is true to size, lacing easy to adjust, color a good neutral, somewhere between taupe and light olive. I recently wore them shoveling 2 feet snow for two hours in 20 degrees-plus-windchill weather, and was comfortable the whole time. Also wore them doing errands and did not overheat going in and out of doors--my feet didn't even know it was winter! These are a huge improvement over my prior pair of pull-on snow boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LIRed Really nice boots
Received a few week ago. Got the light brown. Love the color. Shoe part fit perfectly from the start. Wore to work after our big snow on LI in January. We walk 3 miles everyday at lunch, in most conditions. Really hurt around top of boot. Almost sent back but took another chance bcs the shoe was so comfortable, even with thick socks. Next time didn't pull laces so tight and it was better. Now, after only a few more wearings, just love the boots. Just rec'd the Bean snow sneakers thinking they would be lighter, more flexable and could use them as more everyday sneakers. I find the Vasque boots just as light and flexable as the snow sneakers, which I didn't think would be so stiff. Also, the snow sneakers hurt badly just above the ankle. Yes, the boot part of the Vasque is a little higher, but so much more comfortable. I'm still out to lunch about keeping the snow sneakers.
Size info: I wear mostly 7.5, sometimes a 7 in sandals, but my toe box is square and wide. I got the 8M to accommodate a heavier sock and it's perfect. For comparison, I needed the 8W in the snow sneaker.

I bought these boots thinking ahead of snow. Hopefully we will not receive as much snow as last year. I highly recommend these boots. They keep your feet warm and dry.
Also if you are fearful of falling, they offer a lot of support.
It is like walking on air!

Rated 5 out of 5 by maplescones Beautiful quality, excellent support.
Usually my foot is a 6 1/2 (in Keen, a 7). I purchased these Vasque boots in a 7. While they looked like they might be a bit too big when I pulled them out of the box, they are a perfect fit with medium-thickness wool socks. They also lace snuggly to fit well with a thinner, lighter weight hiking sock. The heel support is incredible, and my feet stay nice and warm. I was pleased with the difference compared to my other winter boots. The quality is excellent (material, how they are made), and they look a lot more stylish and appealing than typical rugged waterproof boots. I love the soft brown color (it's not too light or orange/yellow). The soles are incredibly grip-py, too. Definitely worth a look if you need one boot that can do pretty much everything. If your toes need a lot of room/width, these might not work.
