Rated 5 out of 5 by CoffeeLover123 Working Great!
I was in desperate need of new hiking boots and decided to go for these waterproof Keens. For a true test of endurance, I decided to break them by hiking up Old Speck on a rainy day.
They worked great! Kept my feet dry in the streams and mud, minimal slippage, and no blisters or discomfort at the end of the hike (though my Wigwam socks deserve a shout-out for that as well). I'm pretty happy!

I usually wear a 9 to a 9.5 (have wide feet). Read other reviews and bought the 9.5. Also, my Keen summer sandal is a 9.5. Ended up returning for a 9. The fit is great - I love the fact that it is a little wide (not too wide though). This is an incredibly comfortable boot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MidnightBlue would be great, BUT
It's very difficult for me to find shoes/boots that fit as I have a very wide forefront but a narrow heel (think Birkenstock shape). I desperately a need a pair of waterproof winter boots, and have tried many styles with no success. I finally got these, which would have been great, BUT I need a 10 1/2. Soooo disapointing...
Keen boots often run a half size small, and the 10's were a little too short (normally I wear a 9 1/2 or 10 shoe, if it's wide enough). I just received the 11's but they are too big. I have them on now in the house with 2 pairs of socks to see if I can make them work, but it doesn't look like it. 10 1/2 would be perfect :-( Keen makes a 10 1/2 so I will try to find somewhere else. Please Bean, consider carrying 10 1/2's women's in the brands that make them (especially Keens). Some of us need size 10 1/2! I would try these in a comparable men's size but apparently this style does not come in men's this year.
As for fit, these run wide in the forefront but narrow enough in the heel (with some lacing tricks), perfect for me, but might not work for those with a narrow forefront and toes. They are cut higher than most mid hiking boots, but I think this is an advantage for the winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DebNick Warm and comfortable fit
Had put these on my Christmas list after trying on a pair at the flagship store. My kids bought the red ones for me for hiking and snowshoeing this winter. Have done both and they are great! The staff at L.L. Bean were terrific for helping me choose a boot that was comfortable. The Keens are cut lower in the back so that it does not chafe the back of my leg like other tall hiking boots. Love these boots!
