Experienced guides will share their knowledge and enthusiasm for this healthy, low-impact sport, making this a day of fun as well as learning. In a small group setting that allows for personal attention, our expert instructors will explain kayak design, paddling terminology and boat fit. You will learn and practice strokes, such as the reverse, sweep and draw. Then you'll take a short, guided tour using your newly learned skills. This course can be combined with our half-day Introduction to Sea Kayaking Safety Skills course at the time of registration at a discounted rate (lunch is included for the combined full-day course).
