Offered in the breathtaking natural beauty and relaxed seaside surroundings of Casco Bay, this fun-filled day of instruction will prepare you for all your kayaking adventures. Improve your paddling efficiency, ability and confidence in this full-day course – the perfect complement to our Introduction to Sea Kayaking Combo. In a small-class environment, our expert instructors will teach you balancing, leaning and sculling techniques, plus the basic body mechanics of advanced paddling strokes, allowing you to effortlessly cruise through the water. With Registered Maine Guides and ACA Certified Instructors on staff, you'll also receive thorough instruction on water skills and safety, including how to successfully perform wet exits, self and assisted rescues, T-rescues and scoop rescues. On-site video analysis and review of your technique by our instructors will help you practice and perfect every stroke and rescue.
