Itinerary
Start at the Long Falls Dam Road trailhead at 10 a.m. Friday to greet our Registered Maine Guides and get backpacks ready. The hut is not accessible by car, so everyone will carry in all personal items on the easy 1.8 mile trail from the trailhead to the hut. Upon arrival, settle in to the bunkhouses, then meet at the lodge for lunch. Over the next three days, enjoy plenty of time canoeing, kayaking, hiking and relaxing in the backcountry. On Sunday, enjoy lunch in the lodge followed by a short return hike to the parking area. Accommodations are shared bunkhouse style. They are generally mixed gender; although, single-gender areas may be requested at check-in.
