Leave your everyday worries behind as you paddle your canoe along a scenic lake in Midcoast Maine. On this fun introduction to canoeing, you will pass by a variety of beautiful landscapes and a stunning array of wildlife. Our Registered Maine Guides will provide insightful commentary on the waterway and its wildlife, as well as tips for paddling and transporting canoes that are sure to help paddlers of any experience level.
Itinerary
After the brief demonstration where you'll learn basic strokes and techniques for paddling a canoe, our Registered Maine Guides will lead you on an interpretive tour. As you take in the scenery during your hour in the water, your guides will share their knowledge of plants, wildlife and local history.
