Course Description

Leave the leaf-peeping traffic behind and escape in a canoe where you can experience the vivid colors of Fall's foliage from the water. After a short paddling demonstration, our Registered Maine Guides will lead you through the lake for an interpretive tour as you paddle our stable canoes. They'll give you tips on canoe transport, trip packing and paddling techniques, and share interesting facts about the area's history and surrounding wildlife. You'll also have the opportunity to see migrating hawks and waterfowl, as well as feeding schools of fish.

All necessary paddling equipment is provided.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

*Synthetic clothing dries quickly and is the best choice for outdoor pursuits. Please do not wear cotton clothing. When wet, cotton rapidly robs the heat from your body and takes a long time to dry. We also recommend you dress in multiple layers, allowing you more flexibility to comfortably respond to the weather conditions and your level of exertion.

†Please call ahead if you plan to use your own equipment as it must pass inspection by L.L.Bean staff before use. If it's deemed unsuitable, we will provide you with the necessary equipment.
