Course Description

Enjoy a full day each of kayaking and biking on this fun and exciting tour along Maine's picturesque coast. On your biking day, you'll ride through the rolling hills and farmland of Freeport and Brunswick at a leisurely pace with stops to take in the coastal scenery and refreshing ocean air. Eventually, you'll ride back to our oceanfront campground for your one-night stay.

Our campground is equipped with large tents, cots, sleeping bags, hot showers and many other amenities. A lobster or steak dinner will be served that evening at the oceanfront pavilion, followed by dessert, a campfire and a quiet, relaxing night under the stars.

You'll awake to the sound of waves lapping the shore and the smell of a delicious breakfast that will fuel you for a day of kayaking adventures. On your kayaking day, our accomplished instructors, who are also Registered Maine Guides, will explain kayak design, paddling terminology and boat fit. Afterwards, they'll guide you along the island dotted coastline of Casco Bay in our stable, two-person sea kayaks. You'll have a chance to see seals, osprey, eagles and a variety of fish species. After this spectacular day of paddling, you'll glide back to our campground.

The biking portion of this tour is shuttle-supported for your convenience. All necessary paddling, biking and camping equipment is provided.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

*Synthetic clothing dries quickly and is the best choice for outdoor pursuits. Please do not wear cotton clothing. When wet, cotton rapidly robs the heat from your body and takes a long time to dry. We also recommend you dress in multiple layers, allowing you more flexibility to comfortably respond to the weather conditions and your level of exertion.

†Please call ahead if you plan to use your own equipment as it must pass inspection by L.L.Bean staff before use. If it's deemed unsuitable, we will provide you with the necessary equipment.
