Course Description

This is an essential two-day course for dedicated fly fishers who want to become fly-casting instructors or for those looking to advance their teaching skills. Led by Certified Master Casting Instructors, this intensive teaching workshop will help prepare you for the Federation of Fly Fishers Casting Instructor Certification Test. You will work on perfecting your own casting techniques while learning the skills needed to successfully teach others. You'll learn the best practices for teaching in the classroom, group discussions and out on the water. You will have plenty of hands-on practice and ample time to ask your instructor questions about teaching methodologies and their implementation. This course doesn't include the test, and participation in this course does not guarantee certification.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

*Synthetic clothing dries quickly and is the best choice for outdoor pursuits. Please do not wear cotton clothing. When wet, cotton rapidly robs the heat from your body and takes a long time to dry. We also recommend you dress in multiple layers, allowing you more flexibility to comfortably respond to the weather conditions and your level of exertion.
