L.L.Bean's Freeport Outlet Earns OSHA's VPP Merit Status
Freeport, ME, February 3, 2010 – Officials from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's regional office recently presented the VPP Merit Flag to employees at L.L.Bean's Freeport outlet in Freeport, Maine, signifying their acceptance into OSHA's Voluntary Protection Programs. The Freeport outlet is the first L.L.Bean store, and the only retailer in New England, to become part of VPP.
VPP is OSHA's official recognition of the outstanding efforts of employers and employees who have achieved exemplary occupational safety and health.
