L.L.Bean Wins Prestigious Gray's Best Award from Gray's Sporting Journal

January, 2012 – L.L.Bean is pleased to announce they have won another Gray's Best Award in the Apparel category for their Technical Wool Pants. Given the bewildering array of sporting equipment available today, what does the "best" really mean? Gray's Sporting Journal believes it's a product that tries a little harder, does something a little better and is somehow just more satisfying than other products.

Each year, Gray's Sporting Journal editors consider hundreds of new products for the award, and each year a few stand out in one way or another, and L.L.Bean is honored to be given this coveted award. "This is the second year in a row we have received this esteemed award," says Senior Public Relations Rep Mac McKeever. "Last year, our Trapper Pack Basket was recognized. I commend our Hunting merchandise group for their ongoing development of products that are not only functional, but very innovative as well." The Gray's Best Award winners will be featured in their annual Expeditions & Guides 2012 issue, due to be distributed in January.
