A great cast doesn't have to carry a hefty price tag. With input from our expert staff of casting instructors, field testers and guides, we've fine-tuned this taper to make it smooth, progressive and easy to cast. Anglers of all abilities will enjoy the lightweight, responsive graphite blank and medium-fast action. It's delicate enough to land a pinpoint presentation on a trout sipping mayflies from the surface of a glassy pool, yet powerful enough for longer casts to distant lies across the river.

Handsome wooden spacers and uplocking reel seats blend performance and tradition. Chrome-plated, single-foot snake guides and alconite stripping guides reduce line friction for higher line speeds and longer casts. Include reel-on-rod case. Imported.


Choose the Right Fly Rod

3 and 4 wts.  Delicate small stream rods – great for casting in tight places.

5 wt.    A nimble rod for fine presentations to panfish and small trout on streams and ponds.

6 wt.  A versatile trout rod with plenty of power for reaching out to fishy-looking pocket water on streams and rivers.

7 wt.  A favorite bass or big river trout rod; great for windy days and big flies like woolly buggers or poppers.
